虎鲸是海底的老大，可是鲨鱼和虎鲸也不分上下，虎鲸是一种大型鲸鱼，虎鲸是大型食肉动物，身长有10米，体重9吨左右，他的背上有一张又长又大的鱼鳍，他的嘴巴细长，牙齿锋利，只要那个动物被虎鲸逮住都必死无疑，他最喜欢猎物有：是海豹、海狗、海豚等动物。有时它们还袭击其它鲸类，甚至是大白鲨，可称得上是海上霸王。
我在一本书上看到了虎鲸的'牙齿也看到了鲨鱼的牙齿，可是我感觉鲨鱼的牙齿比虎鲸的牙齿锋利，可是为什么说鲨鱼比虎鲸弱呢?这是我一个迷惑不解的问题!
我在书上但到了虎鲸的狩猎方法，虎鲸要是在海里捕不到猎物就开始攻击沙滩上或者在在冰上的动物，只要虎鲸一往冰那一撞，冰就碎了，冰上的猎物就往海里游，可是虎鲸群已经设了埋伏，这是后那些猎物就再也跑不掉了。
我在一本海洋百科全书里面说，白鲸是海中“金丝雀”，又说虎鲸就是鲸类中的“语言大师”，一开始我不敢相信，可是虎鲸真的可以发出声音，它能发出62种不同的声音，而且这些声音有着不同的含义。例如在捕食鱼类时，会发出断断续续的叽叽喳喳的声音，鱼类在受到这种声音的恐吓后，行动就变得失常了。虎鲸不仅能够发射超声波，通过回声去寻找鱼群，而且还能够判断鱼群的大小和游泳的方向。这种能力，对生活在海洋里的食肉动物来说是十分重要的，海水下面十分黑暗，很难在这种环境里看清远处的捕食目标。
