龙潭乡位于安徽省潜山县中部，世界地质公园、国家5a级景区天柱山后山，皖水的上游，面积93平方公里。该乡地理位置优越，交通便捷，距县城15公里，距安庆市天柱山飞机场和长江港口66公里。万涧又名皖涧，是乡里9个行政村之一，地名诗情画意，源自"每值雨后，苍崖浮青，万涧争流，如大大小小的银练悬挂山涧，故而得名。"万涧奋行了千百年，冲刷出一个厚实盆地，发酵出醉人古色古香，孕育出醇厚朴实民风……

我的家乡早先有过一个满地放满杂物垃圾的小村庄。
很久以前，人们小孩不懂礼貌，不讲卫生。乱扔瓜皮，果皮，废纸……整条小路放满杂物，风一吹，臭气熏天，有的小孩冲过去，有的年青人走过也要捂住鼻子，还有的老人不愿意过去……有的鱼塘，小溪，小河里都有瓜皮、果皮、废纸、鱼骨头、烂菜叶、瓶子、胶卷等垃圾。水浑浑浊浊的，一条小鱼也养不活，看起来好像被牛屎染过似的，有的去菜地的小路，又长又窄，一下雨，小路就会变成了坑坑洼洼的烂泥泞，走起来非常不舒服，有时候回家了，脱下歇息的时候会发现有一层厚厚的泥泞在鞋的底下面。以前让人们不愿意种树，树也不多，但要靠干柴来煮饭。所以一个月就会砍下一棵大树用，连树上的叶子也会晒干来烧火煮饭。门前的小路又窄有小，只能一两辆摩托车过的位置。还是用小石子和泥泞造成的呢！如果一下大雨，就会有一个坑一个坑，开摩托车的人也非常难开……
